Default SELLERS BEWARE of user S2KAGE

I get a PM from S2kage, and hes in "dire need'' of a rear diff. I had an AP2 diff listed for sale and gave him a price of 500$ Shipped. I promised to have it shipped out by tuesday (which I did ship on tuesday).

He also needed the cradle mounts, so I told him i'll throw them in for free.

So I wait for a payment, then he PMs me this...

"Yeo bro, my apologies my credit card just got activated and its not going through on paypal. I need to add the money tomorrow to my bank account so i can use my debit card. Are you okay with that? I will come to you tomorrow morning at 9:00 am.

Sorry for the delay, i was in the middle of transporting my car back. Just shattered my pinion drive again, need a diff asap since its my daily so I used my phone to talk to you earlier till my battery died.

Was also wondering if the diff cradle comes with it? The two aluminum structures that it bolts to that in turn bolt into both mounds? And do you have the front mounts? Mine cracked =(

Thanks again, Rob.

I give you my word that I will be paying you tomorrow morning. If you could ship it as soon as possible that would be awesome b/c I start my 8th semester tomorrow and im driving my uninsured, unregistered, non-inspected civic until then =/"

So, i'm like cool. I got to help this dude out, I bust my ass getting it packaged nicely and shipped tuesday. I text him saying it was shipped, he even responded "You're the best!". Wednesday rolls by, and he calls me saying "hey man did you really ship it out? I took my rear end out, and my rear diff isnt the problem." So hes pretty much saying he doesn't need it, but I said I already shipped it.

So I told him, it will be in Philly at the Grey Hound station by Friday. Friday rolls around, and I look at my email and see a Paypal Dispute! I'm like WTF?!?!, and see its from S2Kage. I text him and i'm like "why did you do a dispute without contacting me?".

The Paypal Dispute reads....

"

From Buyer - Robert Marandola

8/28/2009 11:01 PDT

Said I would be receiving a call yesterday, it is now Friday, do not have my rear. Making claim to protect my money.

Thanks,

-Rob"

This guy never even texted...pmed...called...or e-mailed! I knew immediately this is going to be a headache.

So I contact Grey Hound Xpress in Philly, and the guy working there says he has left him a voicemail thursday saying the item is there ready to be picked up. So he picks up the diff, takes it home, and now tells me the diff is damaged beyond functionality.

I work on cars at my uncles shop. Hes been a mechanic for over 20+ years, and he inspected it. Now he says hes not paying for shipping it back to me, and hes cancelling his credit card he paid for it with. I quote "you wont see your rear diff until you send me a packing label". Also, he says hes keeping the cradle arms I sent him!.

He says hes taking pictures of the damage, but seeing how hes acting....i'm sure hes made the diff worse.

Any comments would be appreciated.

I just want my diff back, or paypal to release my money.

I bought a $2800 2.2 motor from reebs about 8 months ago or so.
Talked to Reebs several times on the phone and sent him a Cashiers check over night.

Came through for me and has good prices too!
Sucks people can be shady.
Hes probably going to take a pic of his bad diff......never know

Good luck reebs

I was hoping to buy that exact diff from you, but I saw his reply, and decided not to since I'd figured he'd needed it more than I do.

Sorry man

Reebs has been a good seller here too on a few transactions. Even if there was a problem, he has handled it professionally. Sorry to hear about the trouble
