Haha! No shit! I was about to buy spoon calipers and tein coils for 1200$ shipped! Said he was "hard up for money and wanted to buy a white s2000".... I then bailed on the deal,( I've dealt with way to many s2k parts to be able to call a bullshitter a mile away) and decided to go my own route for brakes and suspension.
Here comes the funny part.
This guy named John Howard (OREGON local), that I know (also owes me money from a type R deal he f@#ked me on) got scammed by Cody on a black s2k with spoon parts on it. Cody have him the run around and ended up screwing john. It's kind of bitter sweet because they are both sketch. Cody BLEW me up texting trying to sell me all sorts of shit, from asm, spoon, Mugen, some real quality parts. I come to find out that he/they buy and sell stolen car parts (allegedly) and their main source of income is from selling marijuana or trading mass quantities for car parts. This guy is a joke, another one of my friends said this dude is ALWAYS looking over his shoulder and is a pretty small guy. I just hope a pissed off customer doesn't get ahold of them, it could be ugly.
Hahaha, ontop of that, the Cody guy changed his number to a California area code, I guess to seem legit?? I do know that the white S with all his parts is in Cali, I got a message VIA Facebook of a car at a weekend car meet.i Don't know how many S with dry carbon parts and spoon shit can can be rolling around on west coast and look exactly like the pics above. Nonetheless, be careful guys and ALWAYS USE PAYPAL when purchasing something from an unknown member.

My name is Leland Chen and I am the Sales Adviser at DTM Auto Body & Repair. I've actually came in contact with this person named Cody Houston in the Beginning of May. He had inquired about getting body work done to his S2000, but because he was making it so complicated for himself, he never actually came through with the work. Below I have attached our conversation over text word for word.
And that was the end of this conversation...
I usually don't hear about the scamming stuff until way later, but this guy has to be stopped. As a shop I would never ask a customer to send a paypal transaction as a gift and don't give you a receipt. I do everything by the book in a professional manner here at the shop. This guy Cody Houston straight out makes our shops look bad.
I received a forwarded email from my Coworker which included a recent story that was unfortunately what had happened to another victim in the scam crime.
This guy seriously needs to stop using other peoples shop or business name somebody needs to help all the victim in his crime and band together to confront him if the police do not do anything...

So thia guy Cody Huston is here in Cali. He has a storage locker with Public Storage in Arcadia. Was able to find one of his S2000. A beat up red(painted, originally yellow) outside of the storage. He stole about $3000 in property of mine including a 2jzge, R154, engine hoist... and so on. Police cant do anything cuz accodring to them its just "another gone bad". So i tried to sue him and couldnt cuz i have no address.
I have license plate numbers and the address for where hes storing the stuff. So far i havent been able to track him down. But hes around the Inland Empire down to San Diego.
If anyone else knows anything please let me know. I can also provide answer to take this guy down.
