trunkflapper is a scammer
So I bought a knock sensor a couple weeks ago and found out it's not the AP1 one I was looking for, but after some research found that it would work. So I PM'd trunkflapper on his WTB thread and disclosed everything to my knowledge. He agreed to pay 43$ shipped for the item and that was that, payment was sent and sensor was shipped shortly after.
About 2 weeks later, he filed a 'Unauthorized payment' claim with Paypal claiming that he didn't make that purchase. Well, I shipped the sensor to the verified address and it was received (USPS tracking: 0310 2010 0000 9021 9882) so how could it be? Turns out Paypal doesn't protect sellers from the unauthorized payment claims and 100% sides with the buyer regardless of tracking info etc. But whatever, it was a goddamn sensor I got for 10$. Enjoy it David.
For someone that spends so much on their car (boost/tuning etc.) you sure do have class.

Hey I have a knock sensor off an AP1, but the plug is black and I've been told that it's probably the 06+ AP2. It did work with no CEL's or any apparent difference. I double checked with part numbers, and they're the same part numbers according to chassis
The AP1/AP2 (00-05), 06+AP2, BB6(H22), and a handful of other cars have the same part numbers minus the PCX vs. PRC vs. P5M letters to identify the car. I'd be willing to sell the sensor for 40 if you want it.

Yeah I explained the situation on paypal in the dispute box, he didn't respond or make a reply but was granted the reversal/refund on the claim because Paypal is a bit imperfect. A year ago I had to move great efforts to get Paypal to cover a 'not as described' claim from a non-ebay seller and come November 2010(?) they finally put in a policy to cover that. Now here we are with unauthorized disputes and I have to be the douchebag that says 'let me speak to your manager/supervisor' to get something done.
For 43$ though, c'mon that's CHUMP ass change and this guy had the audacity to ask that I ship it out ASAP so he could get his tune done on time.
