i feel a responsibility to share my bad experience with this guy.
we agreed on a price for a set of mirrors, i told him i was looking for mirrors that had no scratches and/or blemishes in the paint, and he agreed that his met that description.
when they arrived, they were ridiculously poorly boxed, had scratches and chips all over them, and one even had a chunk of plastic missing from the base. you can see them here if you're interested.
when pressed about the situation, VeilsideAP1 argued that the low price i paid for the mirrors warranted them being in piss-poor shape. i asked to simply send them back for a refund, and he refused. i then asked for half my money back or $20 less than what i paid AND i would pay to ship them back...he just stopped responding.
Luckily, i paid to paypal with a credit card, and the situation is currently being investigated. i should have my money back soon.

also, it should be known that in order to possibly get my money back, the credit card company needed proof that the merchandise had been returned. as such, VeilsideAP1 is currently in possession of both the mirrors and my money.

I bought a set of AP2 taillights from him that were supposedly in "good" condition. They ended up being opened up before and the amber turn signal lenses had been painted red. Plus, there was a lot of sand/dirt debris INSIDE the housings. I ended up baking them open again and cleaned them up. That's the reason I only buy locally now. This was quite a while ago.

something weird here....i sent the mirrors back to veilsideap1, they sat somewhere in FL for about 2 weeks, then came back, at my expense, apparently. guess the guy gave a phony return address. imagine that.
