Wink Pristine Auto: 2003 S2000

Detailed this car for a friend of mine about 2 weeks ago. Car was in very good shape and only has 40k miles on it. Unfortunately, the owner before him parked under a pine tree and there were sap deposits and/or "speckling" over the ENTIRE car. Nothing in my arsenal could touch the etching brought on by the sap. The light swirling was removed very easily, making this car all the more frustrating.

Products:
Makita 9227C Rotary Buffer
Porter Cable 7424 RO Buffer
LC white wool buffing pad w/ rotary
LC Yellow foam buffing pad
LC Orange foam buffing pad
LC White foam buffing pad
LC Blue foam buffing pad
LC Black foam buffing pad
Menzerna Power Gloss
Menzerna 106FF
Menzerna Power Lock Sealant
Lusso Oro Carnauba Wax
Detailer's Domain Ultra Plush MF Towels
2-bucket method car-wash
Clay Magic Claybar system

Pictures (all are after pictures):

Half wetsand/half not

The owner was simply beyond ecstatic. I absolutely hooked him up with a good price as I didn't want the car to not be perfect for him. Neither of us were expecting this level of work to be necessary, unfortunately, it was. There is ZERO orange peel throughout the entire car now, and it just looks "wet" sitting there.

Time taken: 25-30 hours. Exterior only.

Peace, d00ds!!!

So you ended up wetsanding the whole freaking thing? Is this the one we talked about a few weeks ago? Looks killer dude. You should come down and wetsand my entire car.
