I've been looking for this information just recently as well with no success. The body shop that repainted my fenders didn't put them back on perfectly and it bothers me. I could probably eyeball the placement better than they did, but if there are exact dimensions somewhere, I would rather use them.

I recently purchased a set of badges as well from local dealer. The set came embedded in foam rubber templates.I simply aligned the two templates against one another and centered them up with the side marker light and used the edge of the template to designate how far away from the light the badges installed.I also made sure to eyeball the lines of the fender contours when placing them before pressing into place. The two separate templates predetermine the space between the "S" and the "2000" as long as you cozy them against one another when installing. They look great. The final measurement as to distance away from the marker light was 3/4 inch.Of course that is "2000" on the passenger side and the extreme edge of the "S'" on driver side.

thanks robert for the reply, what im really looking for are exact measurements of the original placement. This could be done by someone with an original S side badge placement to do some quick measurements or if theres an official thread about this topic.

Here's all the info I can come up with so far from the internet.

Perhaps that's all the info released from the manufacturing point to national dealers.

I'll search a bit more and pipe in if I find anything factory specific.
