Default Removing badges?

Hello, want to remove my side S2000 badges and later my front and back Honda badges, but don't know how to do it without damaging the surface?

Do you guys do it yourself or take it somewhere? I don't imagine the dealer would do it?

I used a piece of monofilament fishing line worked back and forth between the badge and body. Worked great and didn't scratch. Some adhesive remains on the body which must be removed.

Rick's (one of the sponsors here; you'll see a clickable ad sooner or later) has detailed instructions for this process, specific to each badge.

And speaking of Rick's -- I ordered some stuff from them and, on a lark, included their radiator cap badge in the order.

I'm amazed by how nicely it dresses up the engine compartment. I wasn't expecting such a dramatic improvement. HPH

Thanks guys, floss worked great, the adhesive takes along time to get off and I considered trying gasoline, but thought it might mess up the finish...

So what do you do with the two plugs that remain from the back badges? I tried taking off the rear and found it looks tacky with those two white plugs...

You ship them to me.

I think I might need them.
