I can see it now. Miata prices going up.

Just a thought, maybe there's an intake manifold manufacturer out there that would want in on this action and create a bolt on affair without spacer. $500 price range and fitment of multiple different throttle bodies would be nice! The F20/F22 intake is too small for the K24.

Why not get this? http://www.balladesports.com/product...ntake-manifold
It is a larger intake manifold and is already set for a k20/k24 swap into an s2000 (so it faces the proper direction). Plus you can use k20 fuel rail and injectors. It might be a little more cost effective since you won't have to buy the s2000 manifold, injectors and fuel rail, and have an adapter plate fabricated.
The company also has other k20/k24 swap parts that may come in handy during your build- since it won't be that much different than swapping a f20 into a miata.
Good luck with your project. Look forward to reading more about it.

Interesting, the company building my SSM motor says the stock intake for the F22 (mainly the runners) is too large and one of the many reasons for the low mid range numbers. We made the intake runners smaller with a bigger plenum and made power everywhere.
