C601 - Hardtop subharness connector. is the only 4-cavity plug behind the driver's seat... all others are 2.

Defroster for the hard top?

Yes

There should not be a separate defogger connector on your '00 model.

That 4-pin connects to the hardtop sub-harness, which has a defogger, and the soft top disable switch plug. The hard top has a body ground on the opposite side of the car, too. 2-pin and goes straight to a bolt in the frame.
