Hardtop removal

Default Hardtop removal

Looking for some help here. I bought my s2000 with the hardtop already fitted, does anybody know of a how-to to remove it?

easy man, there are two latches in front above the windshield and two on the side by each seat.

If you have a defrost wire hooked up (behind driver side seat) disconnect it before you move the hardtop.

^^assuming it's using oem hardware. (i wish i had it)
make sure you have 2 people take it off to make sure you don't damage the car!
if it's not using oem hardware you'll have to take some paneling off to take the brackets out

these are the brackets i'm talking about that are fairly common with replica hardtops

You will need two pairs of hands to remove it. Somewhat big to do it by yourself. Remember to disconnect the window defroster plug on the driver side.
