these

are quite tough to distinguish from the lights and when approaching a mini roundabout you have to err on the side of caution given only tinchy brained ****ers actually buy this shat

The DRL going out is your only clue.

I first noticed it with MK4 Golf, where the indicator was so buried in the middle as to be near-invisible.

Probably why they don't bother using them half the time.

Wait!

VAG cars have indicators? Why haven't I noticed this before?

Aren't indicators an optional extra on Audi's?

At least most of them have fog lights now that are meant to help them get round the corner, it kind of indicates which way they're going too

The new LED 'scrolling' ones I saw on the rear of a new RS6 were pretty cool and easier to distinguish than just a blinker...

to my eye at least.

Somewhere between cool and chavvy tat - I cannot quite decide as yet.

The Septics had similar stuff on '60s Mercuries (and Oldsmobiles, IIRC) and THAT was dead cool.

But I agree they're noticeable and might encourage Audi-chavs to use the bloody things.
