My feeders were running low, didn't have time to fill before work. Hopefully the birds will manage for the day. It was pouring rain when I got in last night at 6:00. No time to mess with feeders. Still plenty of activity on that pine tree. Need more time to hang around with the camera.
The snow is flying and the birds are hungry. Even the dark eyed Juncos are taking a turn at the feeders vs only ground feeding. Pics taken through window. I'm not going out there! Maybe tomorrow.... Dark Eyed Junco House Finch
Since the temps have been low (5-20), and have a little snow (2"-3"), our feeders and bushes have been over run by cardinals, just like in previous years.
Wonder where they are when it isn't as cold, and no snow around?

Rick needs to blow a path to my feeders, two out of three really need the snow banged off of them. I added seed before the storm which is likely all wet now...
One feeder is quite active this AM. Here's a couple more through the window shots. I'll head out later. I'd get in Rick way if I head out now. He's got a lot of snow removal to do and has a "system". I don't help, but I would if he wanted me out there..Glad he doesn't. Junco Gold Finch
