Nope...even for the fish oil, she said it is much better to get it from actual fish, which we eat a couple of times a week.
Congrats!

Rick does take fish oil...it reduced his triglycerides quite a bit, so he keeps taking it. As far as the D, unless you have a deficiency (which we both do as do many in our not very sunny northern part of the country) one probably gets enough in a multivitamin. We both have had to take a prescription for the deficiency, and after that was finished instructed to take 1000 units daily, in addition to the multivitamin. For a long while he was taking a supplement for his knee arthritis. He stopped taking it a while ago. No difference.

We do eat fish, but not twice weekly.

i'm not quite sure how well my hands will hold up on the bars as they have the same issue as my feet.

when I bought the bike it was a double but converted it to a triple since we live on hill.
I can't go anywhere without going up or down. heck it's an 80 foot 1/4 mile climb to get out of my driveway.
ultegra 53-39t on the front and 11-28 on the rear, and long cage dura-ace rear derailleur I can almost climb at walking speeds.
which is good because we have some steep hills to drag my fat arse up.

"sure, when"
"tomorrow'
"ok"
my body has no recollection of that capability.

I'm still doing pretty well...did take a break yesterday with a yummy bacon cheese dog and some fries from Five Guys before the Nats game. And a big scoop of yummy strawberry ice cream at the game. Fortunately, we don't go to games that often.

Lowest reading in a long time on the scale this morning, so I'm happy. From my high I'm down eight pounds. I'll take it. Interestingly, I slacked off on going to the gym in the past week - did do quite a bit of walking. So it's healthy eating and reduced portions (with the occasional deviation as noted above) that are the key in my case.

Good for you, Deb.

We ate relatively healthy on vacation, no real indulgences and we WALKED! According to my iphone I walked a bit over 35 miles Sunday-Friday. I came home about a pound lighter. Way better than gaining weigh on vacation. Back to the Zumba classes and Y schedule.

I thought I was doing pretty good on the cruise last week: 26 miles walked, but still gained about 2.5 pounds from all the over-eating (and drinking) indulgences.

I finally broke a barrier weight this weekend. Somehow that gives me hope that I can keep going. Actually, ElliptiGOing is probably the reason for it. The newly formed Global ElliptiGO Riders Club has challenges that I've been taking on. It's just enough to make me ride more than I probably would have been.

That's a given, there's nothing else to do on a cruise...... well, there are a couple things but you don't loose much weight.
