NOTE : There are no facilities at this location or at the Bear Mountain meetup spot 45 minutes away.
Please plan accordingly.
These establishments exist nearby on Northern Blvd. only 2 miles from the marina that we may wish to stop at and pre-stage getting coffee, donuts, gas, restrooms, etc. before proceeding to the Marina. That will need to occur around 0700hrs. Even if we don't meet as a group at one of these locations you may find the info below handy

STARBUCKS215-29Northern Blvd @ 217th Place opens at 630am - usual premium coffee, breakfast sandwiches, restroom.
Bonus - There appears to be a small cars and coffee meet there as well

DUNKIN' DONUTS 219-20 Northern Blvd @ 220th Street open 24hrs - For those who require donuts with their coffee, breakfast sandwiches, restroom available

7-ELEVEN / bp218-01Northern Blvd @ 219th Street open 24hrs - across the street from Dunkin' Donuts. For those less discerning about their coffee. Pour your own cup, grab a candy bar, bottle of water and go. Full service gas station with vacuums, air, and acceptable restroom accommodations. Last minute "Oh man! I need a ..." items may be found here. This will be the last gas closests to the marina meetup spot and probably the last conveinence store on the route.

I see your rollout time is 7:45am, the rollout time from Briarcliff manor is 8:30 am, which is 30 mins earlier than pasty drives. Will that be enough time for you guys?

 

Oh i am aware lol, its just that before we used to roll out at 9am and now we roll out at 8:30am yet your marina departure stayed the same. Just making sure it's not an error so you guys in fact do not miss it for the first time

 

Yes, our record is excellent and we haven't missed a start time yet! Generally we get there with enough time to BS with the other crews, oggle each other's cars and take pix and what not. It's a 45-54 minutes drive according to Google maps. If we need to move time up LIRR will need to arrive earlier. We're not moving without them. mndthegap1 is an OG organizer on the Bear Mtn run and he leads the LI crew. I'll run that by him.
