That address^ is not the showroom from the article though?
It's the same place where their photo was taken and the same place where illdiealonlyazn is.
At least that's where I got the business card from with the phone number. I was there last summer.

I was informed that there are two locations. Nothing is available for sale here other than stickers. They just do work. I didn't get to the other spot.
If I'm not mistaken all of these photos are at the same place in Ogikubo. They are taken on the second floor of the same shop. The tech there reached into his desk and gave me his card. That 's the address on the card.
In fact the "showroom" is on the second floor. The first floor is where the engine work goes on. In fact when I wandered into the building on the first floor it was about 3pm and it was quite empty. This guy came out from somewhere in the back and greeted me and took me up to the second floor. I told him how glad I was to come to Spoon all the way from New York City and how it was the highlight of my trip. He was quite friendly and spent quite a few minutes with me and wifey before he returned downstairs.
When I got back I Googled and saw his picture on the net. Turned out to be this guy Not my pic. Stupid me

I was at both locations. Type one is the showroom with the cars. First floor has a lift that takes cars to the second floor. The first room has a room with a glass window that you can see from the street and watch someone build an engine. The address for spoon is probably a 15 minute walk from Type One. I can post pictures if you're interested but its mostly a shipping warehouse with a spoon delivery truck. I was told I can buy things there if I wanted but honestly not much of a showroom. Just a bunch of boxes with parts. If you want something you look in a catalog and they bring it out for you.
