Great memories! Was always neat to spot "Burma Shave" signs. Just about everyone slowed down to read them.

Closest thing in today's world are the "South of the Border" billboards on I-95.

I took these along Route 66 near Kingman, AZ a few years ago. I know they are not the original signs, but still neat to see: I was in my NSX at the time, and you will note the straight road ahead, which I took full advantage of. (Pretty sure I doubled the speed on the signs, at least, if memory serves)
