Nice stuff, Gary and Wind. My cameras got a workout this weekend. We went to two spots in CT. LOVELY gardens, beautiful scenery, old mansion and out buildings, the ocean, the whole bit.
I tried to post a FB link to some photos but no go, I'll share some photos later. We really do live in a lovely area. The two places we went to yesterday were within an hour and a half drive from our house.
Here's a few. Grabbed off FB so resolution may be lacking. I had my newer camera with the 18-200 and the older camera with the 100 macro which is a really nice piece of glass as they say.
This flower was from the first stop. I'm pretty sure I took this with the marco, I'd have to check at home..loved the softness of the yellow and the yellow in the background.
The next two show the grounds at Harkness...not great photos, and it was a gray day, but it was a lovely place.
Weddings are held there and they were prepping the terrace and other areas in advance. There is something about the simplicity of the next photo that makes me like it. You know when you go to a Hampton Inn, they have B&W or Sepia photos in the elevators or small photos near the room...very simple in the chosen subject? This kind of reminds me of that...
I took lots of pictures of flowers, and more of the grounds. I'll share more down the line.
The trapper took him away. He was alive but they will kill him because they believe other neighbors have been feeding him so he has no fear of humans. He was 6'. Had he been several feet larger they would have killed him on the spot for the same reason.
