Great resto!

I helped a guy restore his 1959 Olds that had a Delco radio with that "Wonder Bar" tuning thing. More trouble getting that device to work, than the engine and transmission.

So where does that rear section of the Porsche go when it lifts up? Is that to help remove it? Or what?

For that Sony 100-400mm, my lightweight Manfrotto tripod didn't seem stable enough. Esp in wind and uneven ground. Got a new Neewer tripod with the heavier duty RRS BH-55 ball head. Much better.

Nice, very nice, Wind! A few professional photographers who have given presentations at my local photography club are adamant about stable tripods as the ultimately accessory.

Very nice pics, Lainey. What kinda hummingbirds are those? The Rufous kind we get in this neck of the woods are so timid, it's hard to get good composition --- let alone focus. They give you, like 1/2 second to compose a shot.

I haven't been able to use my tripod, as wherever I set it up --- they won't go.

Female ruby throated but only the males have the red throat. They are the only ones we get here. Yes hard to set up and grab a shot using a tripod They move so quickly

Was working from home today. Had a convenient break between some meetings. Grabbed the camera,and went outside. I think we were in the 75% zone. Had plenty of cloud cover as well.

Hoping someone will have some keepers from the totality zone. The mixture of the shifting clouds, different opacity and shading made every few seconds look like something new.
