Mercedes' F1 derived Project-One is here. This car runs a 1.6 liter V6 derived from the F1 engine

May be heading to the Bear Mountain drive.
I've been too busy and distracted this year. Again.
Have to get the car out for a spin...

Crazy day at work so I didn't get to post this.

Had someone come back from Buffalo and they brought donuts from Paula's Donuts. Really enjoyed them. Marc & Shiv - do you know this place?

If if I ever visit Buffalo, I'll need to stop by there for sure. Mr. Oversteery, next time you're driving a car with proper climate control I'll probably count on you to get me some

Yet another car leaving cars and coffee and injuring 11 people per reports. This time it was a Porsche.

Makes me wonder if they should curtail these activities or perhaps engage law enforcement to disperse crowds that stand around cheering and goading the drivers to do something silly.

As much as I like the idea of going to check cars out at a gathering, I hate that these things seem to be happening. Perhaps at said event, they can have a skidpad or a slalom that the drivers can drive their cars around as opposed to going all out on the road and losing it. Thankfully no lives seem to have been lost yet. The day that happens I shudder to think what they'll do to shutdown such events as well as events like autocross.

Local cruise night has a hill between the road and the show field. They hire security to keep spectators off the hill. There are still some shenanigans, but not as bad when there are no spectators. The local cops sit just around the corner too.
