This is it folks. The battle down to the wire that we have all been wanting. Granted we had that with Lewis and Nico, but this is the first time that there may be a non silver arrows champion. Honda winning the constructors appears to have slipped away, but we shall see.

I lean on the side of Max as champion and wanting to see Honda leave the sport as a championship winning engine constructor, but even if that doesn't come to pass we will have had a season that we all wanted. The tension is palpable and you can see the effect it is having on not just the drivers but also the teams and even the FIA and stewards. The latter not wanting to take any decisions that will be seen as taking away from the fight on the track. No matter what, we will have a deserving world champion. Hoping the new rule changes and new cars next year will also make it somewhat more exciting. Hoping it will be a resurgent season for McLaren and Ferrari.

Voted for and rooting for Lewis. I don't like Max. I like Lewis and his driving style, as well as his statements and positions on racial equality and human rights.

Voting for Lewis and Mercedes.

Honda should've picked a better team than RBR/AT as their partner. Honda continues to bail on F1, they should've stayed gone when they left in 2008.

They did pick McLaren and we all know how that went for them.

and at that point the only pickings we’re Alpha Tauri and eventually RBR. It’s not like they could have bought out Mercedes. And the best options were Red Bull given the state of the other teams.

no matter who takes the crown on Sunday is fully deserving in my book.

I would've agreed with you on this previous to the last couple of races.

A hero is only as good as his nemesis...
I was pretty neutral (if not leaning towards a more competitive battle) prior to really getting into this season, but Lewis as a person has won me over (for many of the same reasons as you raised - see also the recent decision by Merc to "mutually" terminate the sponsorship deal with one of the firms implicated for the horrific Grenfell Towers fire in London, likely owing no small part to Lewis Hamilton's criticism of the deal).

Max has done much to make a neutral dislike him (despite that wonderful talent).
