Clunk sound on acceleration
Well,
I've had a bad differential mount for some time (this was advised by the dealer when they replaced my differential) - I finally replaced it today only to find no change in some of the symptons I've had (although the car does feel more solid in shifts now)
Basically right now if I'm accelerating and let go of the gas a loud "clunk" noise is heard - Sometimes, even when breaking although not as loud - what else could possibly have play down there? How can I verify if any other mounts are bad on the differential?
Also one of my other issues is.. going over bumps I hear another clunk from the rear passenger side wheel - almost as if the shock was bad but the car doesnt sit lower on that side - Any one have issues with this?

A loud clunk as you describe upon deceleration can mean one of many things. It could be a bad CV joint in the 1/2 shafts, a bad joint on either end of the prop shaft, a bad diff, a bad diff mount or loose suspension component. Diagnosing which one of these it could be, will be the challenge.
My "vintage" colleague's suggestions should also be taken to heart.

oh god bad diff? lol.. man, ive gone through 2 diffs on this car already both have been covered under warranty -fortunately i do remember this problem occuring a few hundred miles after the differential was replaced so I'm hoping it's not that - I replaced the differential mount that honda was claiming was bad (and was visibily leaking oil) but it did take awhile to I'm guessing I put too much stress on some of the other mounts - I suppose I'll take it back to Honda as I do still have extended warranty - Anything related to driveshaft should be covered under extended warranty, correct?
