How do you close your doors?

My car is still not in my possession, but I have been worrying about this. I have four plans and seek advice/opinions.
a) Mrs XBy follows me on all journeys in the Focus, so that she arrives in time for me to get into the S. When I have got in she then diligently applies Zymol detailer to any affected part of the door before I set off.
b) I carry a washbowl and an industrial strength degreaser in the boot. Before interfering with the door in any way I diligently degrease and then don talc free silicon rubber gloves.
e) On delivery I cover the whole car in a thick layer of that odd waxy stuff they put on machine parts that have to be stored in damp conditions for years. It is about three mm thick, but you can peel it off. This will stay on the car at all times until I sell it.
f) I install the car in one of those environmentally conditioned Ferrari/Damion Hurst glass cases, making sure the car has a perfect finish first. I take it out again when I decide to sell it.
I can see e) and f) have some drawbacks.
Could Muz produce a remote controlled, powered "no fingers" door opener and closer? Perhaps derived from a garage door opener?? Or from the roof mechanism. It's a thought! Could be a winner. Talking of which I see the Z4 is claiming to have the fastest roof. Could this be true??
