That is great advice. While this guy is relatively new he did three different schools in three weeks. He spent a weekend each with the NCCC, SCCA, and Evolution. He easily got in a good years worth of runs in 21 days.

I'm also with the guys that said to go with the bar. Once you get the Kumho's and loop it a few times you'll want one.

Thermostat - This thermostat has the operating temperature set lower than normal. It prevents engine power loss by minimizing rapid water-temperature rises under harsh conditions such as during circuit driving. The use of a flow-control-type valve prevents hunting, thereby achieving rapid stabilization of the water temperature (the engine warms up within a short period). Operating temperature: 68

The thermostat is allowed by 13.10.I.

I could not find any allowance for a fan control sensor/switch in the stock rules. I doubt most people would care that you have it.
