Hello everyone,

I am looking for a toneau cover for my S2000. These covers where a common option to English sports cars of the past and where an excellent way to protect the interior from sun light, the elements, and debris without putting up the top. Typically they where split in the center and zippered shut allowing the driver entry while still covering the passenger side. Does anyone know if they are available?

Yes they are, I believe Covercraft makes them. But I always wonder why people think that's easier then putting the top up?

I believe Covercraft offers tonneau covers for pickups only.
To answer your question; it's not the top that's a pain to raise it's the boot. If I have the top down and park the car I have to remove and stow the boot before I can raise the top, and all I want to do is keep any debris from trees etc. out.

 

Covercraft DOES offer them and I have had one for several months. I think it cost about $60 and is custom made for the S2000 so may take a while to get if they are not in stock when ordered. They do not split the cabin like the old European tonneaus use to. They are very easy to put on. If you use the boot it would take no more time than putting the top up. Without the boot it is quicker to put the top up.

 

There you go, I never use the boot.
