Here's the schematic for muting the rears using the dash mounted mute button. My design mutes the rear speakers, it does not turn off the radio.

The pin numbers are the connection that need to me made on the relay sockets. The left picture shows how the relay is wired to the wiring harness.

Does anyone have the schematic information to make the mute button also mute the rear speakers? Seems like the post was so long ago that the info disappeared.

 

I'm also super interested in dbkelly's schematic.
I just wired in rear speakers and I miss having the use of a mute button. (The rear speakers are fairly loud)
