I'm truly at a loss as to what could be taking so long. It was originally shipped from Austin, TX on the 18th using priority mail (1-3 business days) and just this morning their tracking switched to 'delayed'. Imbiciles.
I'm so glad my $2k guitar is sitting in cold trucks parked outdoors for days/weeks at a time at the end of November in Wisconsin. That'll do it loads of good.

Hopefully it arrives in one piece and in pristine condition.
I've had really bad luck when a package has gone missing for a few days.

Thanks Motoo and everybody else for your warm thoughts. It did indeed arrive, and quite intact. I put some new strings on it last night and screwed around for about an hour and a half -- man, is it ever a cool instrument! It's got more different tones inside of it than any instrument I've ever played (and that's saying a lot -- Pete knows that the collection isn't thin). It's got a couple of issues, but nothing that a luthier wouldn't be able to fix up in no time. I'm going to give it a few days to acclimate to the WI weather (quite a change from TX where it's lived the last 15 years) and the new strings (I play 10 gauge, the seller played 11 gauge so the instrument is dealing with less tension across the neck due to thinner strings; it's going to behave very differently) and then take it in for some lovin'. Seriously though, it's awesome.

Very pretty! Glad you're happy with her, and that she arrived in once piece.
I finally got one of the SSDs installed. It only took 3 days and about 4 copy jobs to finally get it right. :/ On to the second laptop. Hopefully this one goes smoother.
