Default U0107 - Lost Communication with Throttle Actuator Control Module

Got a CEL and VSA light and this code - car will only limp, and no accelerator response.

Have read on the couple of threads I can find that this could be blown VSA fuse(s) twisted O2 sensor wires.

Anyone had this and any ideas?

Thanks

Not sure it would be VSA Ian, I'd be checking the relay associated with the throttle body actuator. I'd guess it's lost power and therefore feedback signal.

Low battery Volt
+ Map sensor with cold air temps = may give a U0107 code
put it on charge and start it in the garage

Shouldn't be low voltage with the engine running, and i think it uses 5v so would have to be massive low battery voltage. Also not sure the map would affect the communication with the thottle module.

A multimeter on the output side of the relay should prove if it's getting power.

One of the early signs of flat battery possibly. Car standing a while in low temps?
Though mine were pre DBW models. Good luck

Batterry is fairly new, car has been styanding but no issues with it in last week since been running it daily. So I need a multimeter to test the relay? anyone got a diagram of the relay or which fuses I might check?

Can't get it to Jimmy and he's jam packed with work anyway, don't want to send it to Honda to pay sky high prices!

Ricky Run Sunday too

Dim question - you sure the Throttle position sensor on the inlet manifold is connected properly?

So I'd driven to the chippy, got chips, got back in car and that is when it started happening.

Today I have checked all fuses, all OK, Checked the Throttle position sensor and the connection from throttle pot connection (up by master cylinder)

All those are OK and it still has the code and will not rev.... Little video coming soon...
