Have wheels on order and just need a 2nd opinion on tire size please
Hey everyone I have wedssport tc105n wheels on order in a 17x8 +49 and a 17x9 +49 I planned on running stock tire sizes in michelin pilot supersports. But my friend told me the fronts will look stretched on there and i should have went with a 225/45/17 instead . I thought michelins run wide also so i thought that would help. I plan on being on coilovers and having a decent drop and dont really want to mess with pulling the fenders and worry to much about messing anything up. I know i will at least have to relocate the fender bracket.
Thanks in advance

Mpsp will look stretched on oem wheels, so they will definitely look stretched on wheels that are .5" wider. I would stick with the 215 front to keep the same rotational diameter front & rear (215/245), or switch to a tire that offers a 225 & 255.

No it would be half of that. 5mm per side of the rim. But considering the pss run narrow, it could be 10mm depending on the tire choice. If you dont want to risk having to get into fender rolling, stick with these.

You are misunderstanding. He is looking at fitment equivalence, not to be taken literally with regard to the rim offset. He is thinking about fitment right, just the wrong amount.
