Default Door Locks

Hi everyone My central locking is not working it is not the fobs as I can hear noise from the doors but they are not locking or unlocking. They lock with the key so do I need to replace actuators in both doors. Thanks for any advice

I had the same problem, changed the actuator on the drivers side and both sides worked again when using the fob.

They are a knob to get at. Long long reach skinny cross head driver with magnetic tips. A small mirror, skinny arms and long thin sleeves to stop you gouging wrists on the door skin.

Drivers and passengers motors are same but drivers side contains the extra electrics to send signal to lock passenger slave.

If the motors are toasted it's usually water damage. Check condition of outer door weatherstrips.

I have the same problem, been meaning to get it fixed but pretty low on my priority list. Thanks for the heads up on checking after replacing driver side acuator only.

I had same / similar problem but it turned out to be the lock rods sticking after winter layup, took the door cards off and sprayed liberally with GT85 and now they work fine
