OR - 2005 NFR S2000 - 89k miles - orig owner - 1 mod
SOLD!!!
For Sale: 2005 AP2 S2000 - New Formula Red - Black Interior
Name: Jay
Location: Portland, Oregon
Mileage: 89k
Clean title, 10 of 10 VINs, great condition, no accidents
Price: $25,000 Firm
Contact:
THE GOOD: There aren't a lot of original-owner cars available, and ones that are basically completely stock with only one modification - a cat-back Tanabe Medallion exhaust. Technically, there is a second mod: The shift knob has been replaced with a heavier one, but I have the original knob as well. Oh, and the original black mats have been replaced with red ones. But that's it. Always garaged for its entire 19 years. New RE-71Rs.
THE BAD: Some wear on the original top in the usual S2000 places, and one small tear that needs re-patching (but does not leak). The stock radio works fine, but a CD is stuck in the CD player and won't eject or play.
THE HISTORY: Lusted after the S2000 when it came out in 1999. Joined s2ki in July 2001. Finally bought a brand new "stook" (as they were called on s2ki way back when) in August 2005. Loved it for years. But now I find myself with 4 convertible sports cars and only 3 garage spaces, so something has to give. And sadly it's my S2000.
Priced competitively for a quick sale as I'm taking delivery of a Porsche 718 Spyder this weekend and would like to see the S2000 go to a good home sometime before the end of April. If I do get a buyer for the asking price this month, I'll throw in for free my limited edition copy of the S2000 Book (print #1975), plus The Book of the Honda S2000 by Brian Long.
