Default The “I Made It Home” Thread

Amy and I took off at 6 AM, to make a funeral for our high school band Director, that started at 12 noon.

Let’s just say we didn’t make it…

After a couple stops, including one gas stop, where they had to reboot the computers… we made it home at 1 PM Eastern. A two hour nap was definitely needed!

Thanks to Mark and John for setting up yet another great event! Hats off to Rob and all the other photographers and videographers, for doing what you do!

I only used 1 quart of oil!

10 hours on the road with one perfectly timed detour and I was home. It was fun traveling with you, Bob!

A few of us did one final pass over Blood Mountain on the way home. I got home right a little after 3. The total trip was somewhere North of 1700 miles. Thanks to everyone for coming and helping make this event a success! October can't get here soon enough!
