Default New garage

Building a new double garage for my s2k. The main use is for general maintenance on our cars and a planned refurb of the s2k underside in the coming years. Hence I’ll be installing a 2 post lift!
We started foundations this week. Great weather for it!
I’ll keep posting pics as it progresses.

Living the dream! I slightly regret not having skylights in mine but they're not great on a clad roof like I have.

You have some space there!

Love it

Do you have to install strengthened concrete for that kind of lift? I was at a place the other day and their lifts were built into the floor. Very cool, no ramp at all

It just a square area of slightly deeper concrete- 200mm instead of 150 elsewhere, with rebar accross the full floor. No big deal really! the lift will be resin anchored into the concrete.

That is going to be fantastic .

I watched this guy planning and building his dream garage a while ago:

He then followed it up with a basic S2000 restoration series:

You look like you have everything covered but its always interesting to see other peoples visions come to life.
