Great post! More acronyms than I think I've ever seen.

Here's one I've always gotten a kick out of, although it's got absolutely nothing to do with anything around here.

You folks remember Lee Iacocca? The guy who turned Chrysler Corporation around back in the early '80's. He also used to work for Ford Motor Company and is one of the primary folks responsible for cars like the Mustang.

Anyway, his last name makes an interesting acronym and the coincidence is almost too strange to be believed.

I = I (duh! )
A = am
C = chairman
O = of
C = Chrysler
C = Corporation <of>
A = America

FWIW! (for what it's worth)
Drive Safe,
Steve R.

hth - Hope that helps
brb- Be right back
bbiaf - Be back in a few
bbiab - Be back in a bit
b/c - because
c/w - complete with
cya - See ya'
ttyl - talk to you later
lol - laugh out loud
rofl - rolling on floor laughing
lmao - laugh my ass off
roflmao - rolling on floor laugh my ass off
imo - In my opinion
imho - In my humble opinion
fwiw - for what it's worth
cb - cheating bastard
kfc - kitchen fresh chicken

acronyms as generally used in place of common phrases. If you see one you don't know then think of typical phases which might fit. The good news is more acronyms are filler and aren't important to the topic. You can ignore then and probably figure it out.

This acronym biz is so cool, and it seems everybody is into it. For example when I'm out an about I often have people yelling 'mofo' and 'fu' at me. Can someone tell me what it stands for?
