adding quotes to signature

i noticed some people have quotes people have said, but i cant figure out how to do it without just retyping it,.....usually there is a bracket around it in their sig. anyone know what i am talking about???

If you want quotes in a reply, use this button

Be sure to take the time to edit out the irrelevant parts of the quoted text or pictures.

i understand how to press "quote" and edit it,....but how do i place it in my sig????? this should be simple but everytime i try i dont get the box around the words with the source it came from......

i take that back,....WHY is there 2 "sacramento area" badges??? i have used internet explorer and google chrome to go in and edit,...and there is not a second one in there,....my last code is the "homecoming" code,....if i delete the sacramento badge,...nothing shows up at all!!!! .....?????
