Default Bouncing Boobies and Bare Asses

We have been slack in the last few months with monitoring and moderating threads and members signatures and avatars. The boucing boobies and bare asses are increasing. We are an S2000 enthusiast site. If those who have questionable or adult related pictures, animations in your avatars or signatures please remove them. We understand this car represents a wide range of ages, male and female. Let's keep the content clean, the image sizes small and your life history of every mod you had and sold down to a minimum.

Thanks

Someone (and I apologize for I don't know who) had an issue with viewing the site at work due to the avatars. Luckily my job hasn't said anything yet (but I'm sure the other sites will be brought up first - j/k). Anywho, what can be done?

I understand the desire to "keep it clean" Personally - I don't mind the T&A.

What I don't understand is that moderators let some members use words like "Jap" without any repercussion.

One member feels that it his right to use this term even though many members strenuously object.

I reported the post/thread to a moderator and nothing happened.

This is disappointing to me to say the least. I don't pay for any board membership other than this one - and I don't really appreciate the fact that I never even received a response from the moderator.

Well, IMO the title says it all. I knew what this thread was about and who basically it was describing before I even opened it. Oh and 4, that was Minako who has problems with viewing this site at work. I mean we have work warnings for threads but how can you put one on a sig? If I was viewing it at work, ther would be none on the thread but if the persons that have their "questionable sig" have posted, I just violated my internet at work because of it.

Besides, it is degrading as a woman to be viewing bare butts and breasts in just about every thread. How would you guys feel having to see male strippers/bare cheasts/etc. in the women's sigs? Your response would probably be "this is a man based forum and we shouldnt have to tolerate this".

No offence to the people who use stuff like that, it is freedom of expression, but where is the line drawn?

Oh please. You can't be serious? First of all, The words boobie and ass can be said on prime time TV. Can the word shit? I would say your post is more offensive than HondaGal's choice of words for the title of this thread. Secondly, pictures are much more likely to get someone FIRED than words because they're more obvious if someone is walking by. Third, people let's get real. Quit being so PC. Sometimes I hate this world and people who get offended by words like boobie and jap instead of the context they're said in. It's the context that makes words offensive, not the words themselves.

BTW, for those that dont want to have to worry about the WW on the sigs and stuff, like I told Minako, you can go to your User Options and turn off siggies and Avatars. This loads up the pages faster and gets rid of the porn in the sigs, and you can still view the board!!

BTW, tehre is also a place that you can turn off pix and make them only viewable with links too. Just some valuable info
