Default Browser quits displaying images

After a few minutes of surfing this site it no longer loads images. I have IE 6.0.02 and Win XP.

It happens to me as well, actually I think it happens to most of us. It's really annoying. If it gets to be a pain try Mozilla. It doesn't suffer the same issue.

I've tried Opera, Mozilla, and a few Mozilla-based browsers and it seems to do it the same on them all just sometimes takes longer or less time to happen. It really drives me nuts since I never get any errors and can't figure out why it does it for the life of me

What browser/OS do you use. I would have to say that XP is somehow the culprit as many weird things have happened since I switched over a year ago from 2000 pro to XP pro.

Happens to me too!!! Specifically after viewing page 60 of that Post Your Girlfriend / Wife thread, which happens to be full of people complaining that the images on that page do not load. After that I will not be able to view any images on any site until closing and opening a new browser.

One tip, close all browser windows. Then, open a fresh browser window (do not open s2ki.com, try something else). Go to the browser's menu: View->Encoding and check the encoding type, note it down. Then open s2ki.com (that page 60 or whatever screws it up) and when it gets stuck, go and check the encoding again. Normally the encoding should be auto or western europian, so if it's not change it back.

If this does not help you will need to read this entire link:

BTW, it actually appears to be page 61. My encoding changed from Western European (Windows) when the browser was first opened to Western European (ISO) when I went to S2Ki.com, but it did not change when viewing page 61 of that thread.
