Some of my photos seem to have a black background and when put them into a thread using the "insert from albums" mode, they don't show up very well. Like this:
However, if I go to my album and copy/paste the URL between image tags, it comes out the way it was supposed to. Like this:
images are given a black background to frame them better. If they are transparent gifs this black will show through. The gallery isn't well suited to displaying such images so I'd recommend using the full URL and the IMG tags for these kinds of images.
