why can i NOT type?! i can always log on to the chat.. but i cant TYPE.. why?!

 

Let's take this one step at a time...

When *I* select the Chat feature...my pitiful 33.3K modem (okay...its 56K...big diff) takes a lil while to load up. How bout you?

Next, I [now <==recent feature...neat] have the option to log into the Main Area or Lounge. Did that too, successfully?

So...when I look near the bottom of the Chat window, I see a long field under the phrase "Enter your message, SaNgO5" Do you see that when the window is displayed?

So...when you type something in that field and hit enter...your suggesting that "It don't work"...that you CAN'T type???

If all above prior to the typing part is working as stated...I'd suggest posting your problem over on the Site Info forum and see what they can do to help ya.

i can log in and everything.. everything is fully functional and i can even see the others type.. but when i click on the type box.. as i press the keys. nothing comes up.. and then it freezes.

Can you give us some detail about what browser/version you are using, what type of computer (PC or Mac)? Do you have a firewall?
