Default Community badges - turning off?

Is there a way to turn of community badges? They seem to be seperate from signatures. I really don't care to know who posts where, and would like to turn them off to speed up page loading.

Is there a way?

Thanks;
WSB

Billy, at present time the only way is for you to turn off your viewing of sigs completely.

I'm not sure that with the coming release that as a user you will be able to control viewing other peoples community badges separately from sigs either.

Except people now are badge whoring the the extreme and it probably slows down the site even more than their sigs do ..

Turning sigs off doesn't turn the badges off, at least not for me.

Hopefully v4 will have this functionality.

Thanks,
