As food for thought, your username is commercial in appearance. Whether or not you are associated with a company I would ask you consider a new user ID once you have considered paying for a membership

 

well I'm a photographer and it's my company name. I don't really consider it advertising - it's simply a means of identifying myself by what I do. It's what I use on every forum, and even in games as a tag!

I also got that reply in an email from an admin.

Not so much considering membership anymore, I think it's a little harsh.

I know about sponsorship and why forums don't want people soliciting, I'm far from new to the internet for forums.

I don''t think I was harsh, but rather pointing out we are fairly strick with commercial advertising. I thought I would get you started off on the wrong track.

No plans to advertise... especially since I only work locally and am likely the only member on here in Saskatoon save 1 or 2.

If I could use the username I emailed to the admin email address I'd probably be happy to join.

I'm here to avoid making mistakes building an S2000, not make money
