Hey so i dont really know where to put this so i figure here is a decent spot. I just want to say thank you to the S2KI form, the people who run it, and the memebers who frequent it. I joined about 2 weeks ago as i was finishing up buying my 02 S, and this sight was a huge help on what to look for in the car. also the very first week i had the car i got a CEL. after about 45 mins of searching on the forum i was able to figure out what the CEL code was for (secondary intake) and was then able to fix it without taking it in (a vaccuum line came lose) the next week a terrible rattle started to come from my transmiton(metal on metal sound) area and i was sure my car was done and i was SOL, but befor i took it in (i even set an appointment) i went online and started to search and found that the oil cap i had lost a few days befor (the guy didnt tighten it down on his last oil change i guess and i didnt think to check) was the culprit. it was lodged between the firewall and the transmition. i was able to fish it out after great effort but was soo releived my transmition wasnt shot. so basically in my first two weeks of owning my new S you guys saved me 2 trips to the mechanic and a lot of peacce of mind. im fairly mechanically inclined if i know whats wrong and thats what this form did for me.
