Default Does anyone else miss the flames?

I loved the part of the old format that had the flames outlining hot threads, anyone else miss that feature? (otherwise I like the new format)

Also I notice that H-A net has a similar software, can you add the spell check feature? plllllllllllease??

I've always felt the flames are just redundant data.. there is a post count displayed. In fact I could live without the icons altogether and go back to the colors indicating previously opened.

I thought the flames on the thread folder were a rather entertaining and a great way to see what was hot that day.

I don't see what indicates a previously opened thread, can someone please tell me what to look for?
