Thumbs up Editing posts

I asked Darknight, but he suggested to post here because he couldn't help.

How do I edit older posts (even a few hours old)? It doesn't give me an option to do so. Thanks a lot! Much appreciation.

For new posts, there's an edit button:

For older or slightly older posts, there's no way I could edit (no edit button):

Once again, I'd really appreciate help.

Yes, I, too, posted about this awhile back when I noticed that my Edit button disappeared. Especially bothersome when you really need to change something on your post.

Yes, and when you need to edit some for-sale posts.

There seems to be a problem with the edit button disappearing on old posts. This is very annoying, that you can't edit old posts, such as for sale items etc.

Dale

PS - are you guys still running the beta bug tracker. If so, just PM me and I can add it into the database.

Yeah, I just found this, too. It could also be a problem when the old post has a link that has changed and needs to be updated. I'd like to see the "Edit" button stick around forever.
