I just noticed that the "embedded" advertising is back, at least on the front page of S2Ki. For those who don't know, it basically scans the page and picks up words and make them links to advertiser sites. This was tried a few months ago and then it stopped. But now they are back.

Question: Will this be applied to the general forums (again) in the future?

 

Not for members, for everyone else, maybe, maybe not.

 

I'm a member and I see them (on the home page only).

The Home page doesn't count. The articles are paid for in cash money from the ad revenue. Forums are by the people for the people and that's why paying members see few or no ads.
