A couple weeks ago I made some changes to the site to allow google to index our threads so that they can be searched.

At present Google has indexed about 3000 threads and is always adding more.

You can search s2ki on google by adding "site:s2ki.com" to your google search.


IE: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=...%3As2ki.com+s2k

Can the search function be powered by Google so that the load process and bandwidth is taken off of the site servers?

basicly no.

it takes just as much load for google to index us as our search engine does and google has only indexed about 3000 of 155000 threads. I can't control how fast they index the rest. It'll probably be many months before google fully indexes the threads.

 

Oh well, I guess if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself.
