How come the home page still has the old messages about work on the site posted front and center? It makes a strange first impression. Just wondering why.

Very good question! I've actually been noodling ideas about the frontpage/home section since Friday. I'm going to redesign it completely. Any web designers what to help? I'm short on ideas.

All I know about web pages is how to read them. I wish I could help. I'll put a link up to this thread in New England. I know there are some page designers over there.
