Default How do I copy badges under my sig?

I heard I can edit my sig by adding badges from other users, but how do I do that? That code chart is confusing. I was given a few by CO's, but they said I have to upload the other ones on my own.

some of those you have "placed" in your sig are highly sought after "awarded" badges The wild one in particular...

You can place whatever you want, no worries but like I said some of those are awarded and some are easily given to you (the wash and wax one for instance).

some people have been trying for years to be awarded the wild badge. I am not saying you cant display it but it means more to be awarded badges like that than to just code them into your sig.

Also you have been badged twice from the electronics forum thats looks funny as well.

Just a nickels worth of free advice

to qualify for the wild badge you must be judged by poindexter and the car has to be modified in many ways to qualify.

the thread lives in the gallery forum:

most badges are fun badges and can be posted in your sig with no worries,

most..not all geographical area badges has some form of stipulation attached to being able to have it awarded (living in the region, past resident, attended a meet or two or post in there religiously, etc)

Badges like the photography forum, wash and wax wacos, or electronics forum simply require a request to be awarded. or they give you the code outright and you place it your sig.

the difference beween a "placed" badge and an "awarded" badge is the awarded badge carries a link to the forum it specifies and shows up as part of your site-controlled signature area. you can not edit it, it is placed by the software.

In the very special case of the Mild and wild badges there is a selection process that is fairly fierce and people who have spent thousands of dollars on their cars sometimes still dont qualify (like me ) that is not my reason for telling you all of this but I am one of those unfortunate souls still trying to qualify....it is kind of like a rite of passage for someone like me HAHAHAHAHA

so, in the end, no biggie just giving you some background. I did the exact same thing as you when I first started, but over time I have come to respect badges and cherish the ones I have been able collect; those awarded to me as well as the freebie ones.

Plus, I have designed about 40 badges on this site so I am emotionally attached to all of them.
