Until it is freaking fixed. Apparently this is a big issue for some. I guess usability is pretty low on the priority list.

Food for thought: Guests still count as members when the site is pitched to advertisers and these same guests supposedly support the advertisers.

Can I confirm that this is a problem on both IE 6 and IE 7 or is it just IE 7?

Here's more food for thought. Who's paying to fix the problem? I am because you aren't. You pay nothing and yet you demand service like a paying customer. I'm the guy who has to take time away from paying gainful work, from my family and from my leisure time to investigate, fix, test and deploy the solution to the problem.

Sure it's nothing to you because you aren't the one who has to do it. I don't see you spending the next 3 hours of your life fixing it yet oddly that's what I see me doing. Why don't you show some appreciation for the fact that I'm prepared and willing to take time out of my day to do something for your benefit (not mine) and get a $20 membership?

That small and insignificant gesture on your part makes a huge difference in letting me know you care that I care. If you are unwilling to put a few bucks in the tip jar to make sure I'm going to be there to solve problems and make sure that when you open the bookmark the site comes up then what makes you think I'm willing to lift a finger on your behalf? You want me to think you give a damn about what happens to the site right?

After six and a half years I would think you have some vested interest in the disposition of the site; enough of an interest to pay $20 a year to maintain it and make sure it's looked after.

Just something to consider.

I'm getting it in IE7. More of an annoyance than anything.

On a side note, I was a paying member, but then I traded in my s2k for an STi.

I'll tell you why.

When I started my business I contacted you several times about board sponsorship without a single response. Another member was doing the same as he started a business at the same time. After numerous emails we finally posted our concern publicly and your response was curt and unprofessional. Basically you said don't bother me and go read the sponsorship terms. Gee, thanks I wanted to discuss beyond the terms.

At the very time I was trying to secure sponsorship, you were posting all over the board about how broke S2ki was and how you really needed people to sign up for membership to support you. All this financial drama and you can't bother to follow up with two business which wanted to pay you a minimum of $300 a month each? You weren't too busy to post soliciting membership. I doubt you were too busy to follow up with potential sponsors.

So save your sad little wounded bird song for someone who hasn't been here for over six+ years and at one point tried to financially support this forum of yours and was treated like crap.

Now that we understand each other, I'll leave this thread alone. It's your site, run it as you wish.
