Default Last login/First unread post marker query

This is a multipart question.

First, is there anywhere on s2ki to show my previous login time?

Second, how does s2ki's database track last logins/first unread posts?

Probably once or twice a week my account (based on mys2k) indicates that I was logged in when I wasn't. For example, based on unread posts in subscribed threads, my account was logged in at around 9pm last night. My home PC was off and my work PC didn't have an open browser, I was sitting at a comfy barstool, and I don't believe that anyone has compromised my account (though I'm going to change my password today to make sure that isn't the case).

So how is it that I was seemingly logged in at 9pm? Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks in advance
WSB

nothing to do with the db, Billy, it is all based on your cookies. Unless you actually CLICK logout, you remain logged in until the timeout (I think 30 mins??)

Try actually clicking log out and see if that alters the behaviour.

Try clearing your cookies and see how it goes

Timeout is 1 hour, I believe, but it seems to vary a great deal (I've had timeouts in less than 15 minutes, I've had sessions last 2 hours between activity). You're suggesting that I left work at 3pm and I was still logged in 6 hours later? So how does a closed browser keep me logged in for 6 hours after I've closed it? And how do different computers know when I was last logged in? I assume when I login my browser retrieves something from the server saying I was last online at 3pm yesterday, which would be a dB issue...

Ian, can you check my IPs from yesterday?
