Thumbs down Member e-mail not working correctly

Hi Cthree,

HELP!

Can you reinstate the "FETCH" function in squirrelmail which enables the users to fetch external POP mailboxes within s2ki-mail?

This was a hugely beneficial function for me on which I kinda started to rely even for business purposes.

I hope you can take care of it soon!

PS: You have an old unread PM in your box.

Siep,

Can you not setup your other mail accounts to automatically forward to your s2ki one? I realize there are ways to use this feature other than to collect all your email in one place but I'm just curious. There are 2 ways to do the mail fetch, one is simpler but manual (you click a fetch button) and the other is automatic (it collects it on a schedule). The latter is kind of messy so I'd like to avoid it. When things get complicated it's almost impossible for me to figure out how they work later and also impossible to carry them over should the server change.

Let me know if a) the former solution is what you want and b) if you can get along with just forwarding your other accounts.

The thing is I work "all across the world" and I am stuck with using a Compuserve Classic dail-up account to dial in anywhere. So I already forward all my emails to that account and that would be the one I would 'fetch' with squirrelmail on any other computer that is available for me anywhere. It was like a dream come true!

Since compuserve is so backwards and old (but works in any country) it doesn't forward by itself... So the former a) solution is not only what I really, really want, but also need!

I just use it when I need it (basically when I find out I'm sol when it comes to dial in with my own laptop), and than a full manual 'fetch' button is perfectly acceptable. Don't make it automatic!

I hope it works out!
